Leadership

Jesus Christ is the Head of His Church, and each member of His church has been entrusted with His Spirit, spiritual gifts, and responsibility to help the Church be healthy (1 Cor 12:13, Eph 4:11-16). In light of this, we value a congregational government that meets quarterly to make decisions together, guided by the elders.

Our staff are:

Office Manager Becky Sell

rs@rivershores.org

Becky grew up on a dairy farm just outside of Eureka, WI, the youngest of three kids. After watching her parents give their life to Christ when she was 12 years old and seeing the remarkable change in their relationship and lives, she knew without a doubt that God was real and the power of Christ can do the impossible. She graduated from Omro and went to UW-Oshkosh to get a degree in Graphic Communications. In college, she met Andy, and they dated for nearly three years before getting engaged to be married. They lived briefly in Colorado Springs before moving back to Wisconsin to start a direct-market farm on Becky’s family farm. Many years later and a whirlwind of epic failures, incredible wins, job changes, start-up companies and some massive faith-growth, Becky and Andy now have four children, live in Berlin and just keep following God’s path, one step at a time. She is so blessed to be working for the church that they fell in love with in 2017.

Children’s Director Carrie Keyes

carrie.rivershoreschurch@gmail.com

Carrie was born and raised in northern Illinois but decided at 18 to move down to the sunny desert of Tempe, Arizona and attend Arizona State University. After graduating in 2004 with a degree in Elementary Education, Carrie worked at the same school district for nearly 20 years in suburban Phoenix teaching 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade.During that time, Carrie and her husband Dan began growing their family and their faith. In 2013, Carrie began serving in Kids Ministry at Sun Valley Community Church in Gilbert, AZ working primarily with K-5 children. In 2016, Carrie helped launch a new Sun Valley campus in Queen Creek, AZ where she continued in Kids Ministry as a kids leader and a service coach (coordinator) as well as a VBS team lead, adult small group leader and participant in multiple church community outreach programs. In 2021 Carrie and Dan felt a strong urge to sell their home in AZ and move 2,000 miles away.  Not completely sure why God was calling them to Wisconsin, they followed in obedience and couldn’t feel more blessed to have found the wonderful town of Berlin and the River Shores family. Carrie has been serving in Pre-K at River Shores for the past year and a half. Carrie and Dan have 5 awesome kids; Austin (15), Lucas (13), Addison (9), Aliyana (9) and Jackson (3). They are excited and feel blessed to worship alongside you at River Shores!

Worship Director Chad Raisleger

chad@rivershores.org

Chad grew up in a small family in Green Bay, WI. His earliest musical memories are of having basically been raised in the choir loft of his Catholic church where his parents sang for over 25 years. Chad joined a rock band his senior year of high school called Annex and they were fortunate to travel all over the states for many years. After high school, Chad studied music education at the University of Green Bay. Chad and Jill were married in 2002 and grew their family while serving in a full time role at Celebration Church where Chad was the music director and Campus Pastor at 2 of their 3 locations. Stepping out of full time ministry in 2019, Chad spent a year and a half driving semi praying about his next steps in ministry. It was clear that music ministry was his calling and quickly doors began to open at River Shores. Chad’s desire is to learn while leading and to create an atmosphere of worship where distractions are removed, allowing people to experience God in a personal and awesome way.

Youth Pastor Andrew Barber

andy.rivershores@gmail.com

Andy was raised in Lake Zurich, IL. He graduated from Eternity Bible College in Simi Valley, CA with a degree in Biblical Studies. He spent many years working in a variety of roles at Fort Wilderness Camp in McNaughton, WI. While assisting in directing youth camps at Fort his love for youth ministry grew. After his years at camp Andy served as the Bible Teacher for High School students at Valley Christian High School in Oshkosh, WI for 4 years. Andy loves working with youth as they step towards adulthood and take greater ownership of their own faith. He joined the staff at River Shores in 2022.
