Jesus Christ is the Head of His Church, and each member of His church has been entrusted with His Spirit, spiritual gifts, and responsibility to help the Church be healthy (1 Cor 12:13, Eph 4:11-16). In light of this, we value a congregational government that meets quarterly to make decisions together, guided by the elders.

Pastor Casey Getz
Casey is originally from Morton, IL. He graduated with a major in Chemistry from Trinity International University in 2002, which is where he met his wife Katie. After graduation he worked at Abbott Laboratories as a Chemistry Lab Technician for 2 years, while playing in the Christian band “Oak from Ash.” In 2004, he married Katie and started serving at Terrace Shores EFC as a worship pastor. In 2009 he completed his Master of Divinity degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Casey and Katie then helped Terrace Shores plant River Shores in August 2009. The Getzes live in Berlin and have four children: Henry, Merian, Emmett, and Lincoln.
Youth Pastor Andrew Barber
Andy was raised in Lake Zurich, IL. He graduated from Eternity Bible College in Simi Valley, CA with a degree in Biblical Studies. He spent many years working in a variety of roles at Fort Wilderness Camp in McNaughton, WI. While assisting in directing youth camps at Fort his love for youth ministry grew. After his years at camp Andy served as the Bible Teacher for High School students at Valley Christian High School in Oshkosh, WI for 4 years. He joined the staff at River Shores in 2022 and married Sarah in 2025. Andy loves working with youth as they step towards adulthood and take greater ownership of their own faith.
